Living Mindfully with CF - Fall 2018

6-Week Interactive Online Class Led by Julie Desch, MD
Beginning Thursday, October 11, 2018, 6:15 pm PST

Classes will be held on Thursdays, from 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm PST (9:15 pm - 10:30 pm EST), starting October 11. Registration is free for those with CF, their family members, spouses and caregivers. This includes course materials (provided in PDF form),  6 class sessions and an online retreat. While there is no charge, you must register for the class in order to participate. All registrants must be at least 16 years old.

This class draws upon Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction techniques, focusing these practices specifically to living with CF. Classes are recorded, so if you miss a session, you may participate later and stay up to date.

Class One (October 11): Introduction to Mindfulness
Class Two (October 18): Mindfulness of Body and Breath
Class Three (October 25): Mindfulness of Thinking
Class Four (November 1): Mindfulness of Emotion
Mini-Retreat (Saturday, November 3): Morning Meditation
Class Five (November 8): Working with Uncertainty
Class Six (November 15): Self-Compassion and Resilience
